Compassionate Caregiver Wanted for Elderly and Recovering Patients

We are seeking a kind-hearted individual to provide personal care services to elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. This role involves attending to basic needs such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating. Flexibility is required, with the ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal hygiene assistance, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients with medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility around the house or outside, including shopping, errands, doctor's appointments, and walks.
• Assist with planning and preparing meals.
• Help and encourage clients with therapy exercises.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency and report any unusual incidents.
• Offer engaging activities to provide a meaningful quality of life.

Qualifications:

• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform job-related duties.
• Compassionate and supportive attitude.
• Available to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (minimum 1 year) preferred.
• Willingsness to enforce health and safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification or experience a plus.

Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate $15-$20 per hour based on experience.
