Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will assist with patient activities of daily living, vital signs monitoring, specimen collection, and maintain patient records, all while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for patients of all ages in a team-oriented setting.
Requirements
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare patients for meals, distribute food trays, and assist with feeding.
- Measure vital signs, weight, height, intake, and output; report any unusual symptoms.
- Assist with mobility, range of motion exercises, and repositioning bedridden patients using proper body mechanics.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare patients for meals, distribute food trays, and assist with feeding.
- Measure vital signs, weight, height, intake, and output; report any unusual symptoms.
- Assist with mobility, range of motion exercises, and repositioning bedridden patients using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and functional working environment.
- Ensure proper equipment use, report any malfunctions, and assist with cleaning.
- Adhere to universal precautions and infection control standards.
- Act as a communication link between patients, families, and nursing staff.
- Participate in team meetings and educational programs to continuously improve patient care.
- Report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.
Education : Completion of a Nursing Aide course and registered with the State Registry.
Certificates : Current BLS certification.
Other : Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility.
