What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage many of the daily administrative functions related to maintaining and developing the Spooner FIT (FIT) Program.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Spooner Physical Therapy products and services outside the scope of the FIT Program for optimal delivery and presentation of information to both internal and external sources for credibility and marketing potential.
- Consistently attain knowledge of new exercises, techniques, research, and customization of exercise routines for optimal patient/client outcomes and staff education and implements testing for measurement of results as applicable.
- Implement appropriate safeguards and risk management strategies during training sessions, maintaining secure and safe treatment areas and a working environment free of hazardous conditions in accordance to SPTs Safety and Illness and Injury Prevention Program.
- Assist FIT gym members with questions or training, and orients newcomers to the FIT Program.
- Log and track FIT Program membership and training deposits and payments, communicating information to accounting and patient services coordinators as required.
- Maintain open communications with Clinic Directors, supporting the decision-making process, the organization’s strategic planning goals, and the values promoted by the organization. Development of relationships with both internal and external customers to a higher level of customer service is essential to the success of this role.
- Meet regularly with the Clinic Director, as appropriate, reporting progress and accountability for meeting or exceeding goal expectations.
- Commit to compliance with all state and federal labor and employment laws, OSHA regulations, and HIPAA, as required.

What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science (Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training) or related field.
- Certification or Licensing as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Certified Special Populations Specialist (CSPS) preferred (will accept NASM-CPT, ACE-CPT, NSCA-CPT, ACSM-CPT). Must obtain within 6 months of hire if not already certified.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience treating patients or training clients preferred.
- 1 Year experience in a leadership position with group instruction preferred.
- CPR certification.
