Your Role:
We are seeking a full-time Insurance Verification Specialist to join our growing practice. In this role, you'll ensure seamless insurance verification processes, empowering our front office team to deliver outstanding care. Key Responsibilities:

Verify dental insurance benefits across all Spoonwood Dental Partners locations (Keene & Peterborough)

Confirm patient eligibility and benefits using insurance portals and direct outreach to insurance providers

Prepare accurate insurance estimates for patients scheduled two weeks in advance

Track coverage for cleanings, exams, X-rays, and other treatments

Input verified benefits and coverage amounts into patient records

Manage same-day insurance verification requests to support patient care

Collaborate with the front office team to resolve insurance-related questions

Maintain compliance by completing HIPAA, OSHA, and Cybersecurity training annually
Team Collaboration:

Assist team members with special projects as assigned by the Regional Manager during downtime
What You’ll Bring:
Experience: 1 year in dental insurance verification preferred (on-the-job training provided)

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills

Mindset: Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of computer, monitor, phone, and other office equipment

Regularly required to sit, talk, type, and hear; occasional walking and standing

Ability to lift/move up to 10-25 pounds occasionally
