THE OPPORTUNITY
Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a highly motivated individual as a Patient Service Representative to work in our Brentwood clinic. This Full-Time position will be responsible for ensuring all patients are efficiently and accurately managed throughout their course of care along with working closely with the team of providers to accommodate all needs of the clinic.

Education, Training, And Experience Requirements
- College degree is preferred
- Minimum 1-year experience in high volume healthcare administration
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical practice procedures and terminology is helpful.
- Familiarity with pre-authorization procedures, insurance verification, scheduling, and working in EMR systems
- Maintains patient confidentiality; complies with HIPAA and compliance guidelines established by the practice
- Maintains detailed knowledge of practice management and other computer software as it relates to job functions
- Attends continuing education meetings as requested
- Performs additional duties as requested by Manager or Team Leader/Supervisor
- Collect and record accurately all demographic information (email, phone, address, etc)
- Collect patient responsibility including copays/coinsurance and prior balances
