Sport Ortho Urgent Care is an emerging outpatient practice that is part of a comprehensive orthopedic model. We are committed to offering an innovative experience to the patient by having an integrated approach with a team of providers, including Orthopedic Physician Assistants and Physical Therapists.
The Opportunity
Sport Ortho Urgent Care is currently seeking a highly motivated individual as a Radiologic Technologist. This position would entail XR / MA responsibilities while being a part of a comprehensive team of providers.
Full scope or limited scope applicants. New grads are welcome.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance according to the specifications of examination.
- Take x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
- Overall support for Providers and daily operations.
- Assists with scheduling, answering multi-phone lines.
- Gives injections, applies bracing, casting and durable medical equipment.
- Processing of referrals.
