Receiving Clerk II - 1st Shift (7:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Thursday + Overtime on Friday)

Pay varies by position and is based on multiple factors including labor market data and, depending on position, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and/or certifications. Additionally, Sportech takes into account the internal equity of current employees when considering compensation. Sportech’s reasonable and good-faith estimate for new hire compensation at the time of posting for this position is $20.75 per hour. Pay may also include variable compensation from time to time such as overtime for non-exempt positions, shift differential for specific shifts, and/or bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). 

Job Summary

Under limited supervision, receives all incoming materials and processes packing slips in ERP system. Operates a hand jack and forklift equipment. Writes up or checks necessary paperwork in connection with receipts to ensure proper material flow. Verification of incoming packages for damages and count to ensure quality product is received.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive, unload, issue and put away material in designated locations
• Perform receiving verification counts and work closely with quality regarding inspection of incoming goods
• Offloads raw materials from trucks and trailers and verify product and quantity against the packing slip
• Places raw materials in designated staging areas
• Accurately maintain inventory transactions in Epicor
• Maintain product verification
• Manage space and locations in the purchased part and work in process markets
• Monitor and manage staging locations
• Print standard receiving labels as needed
• Complies with all applicable safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to Supervisor or appropriate resources
• Maintain a clean and organized 5S work environment
• May be required to perform additional as assigned

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus six to twelve months experience.
• Forklift training and certification required
• Ability to lift and perform other physically demanding tasks associated with material handling and receiving
• Accurate counting skill
• Some computer skills
• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members
• Ability to lead small groups and provide work direction
