Job Summary
Sportech offers qualified finance students a real-world experience working in an innovative program designed to enhance academic experience, professional growth, and personal development. As a finance intern, you will support various financial tasks including financial analysis, reporting, and data entry. This role provides a valuable chance to acquire practical experience in finance, enhance your analytical abilities, and gain insight into the organization's financial operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Gather and organize financial data from various sources.
- Utilize financial software and tools to analyze data and generate reports.
- Create visual representations of financial data using charts, graphs, and dashboards.
- Partner with finance team to convert ERP system reports to Power Bi reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Troubleshoot data-related problems and provide solutions after testing.
- Stay up to date regarding latest Power BI trends, features, and best practices.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements
- Participant must have functional knowledge of Power Bi and Power Query
- Participant must be currently enrolled in an accredited finance, accounting or related field program
- Participant must hold Junior or Senior standing
- Participant must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Participant must maintain all the above to continue in the program
