Description
The Guest Relations department will be responsible for ensuring the reasonable and logical needs of all our customers, whether they are regular or otherwise, are fulfilled appropriately.
This will require a wide range of well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure as employees in these positions will frequently be presented with multiple customers with different requirements and expectations.
A broad understanding, or ability to learn the basics of our business, will be a major benefit as will the desire to actively help our customers.
- Engages customers on entry, and exit, whenever possible
- Creates a positive first and last impression of the venue
- Answers questions and solves issues or elevates them to the duty Manager if appropriate
- Displays a positive and cheerful attitude even in the face of adversity
- Maintains the overall appearance of the venue, even when maintenance staff may or may not be available, to ensure a consistent customer experience
- Monitors and maintains acceptable behavior and ambience throughout the venue
- Responsible for the overall preservation of equipment including but not limited to televisions, information & program terminals and ATMS
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3 years' experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change
- Knowledge of the wagering industry helpful
Certificates or Licenses Required
Must be capable of obtaining appropriate license from the State of Connecticut, Department of Consumer Protection.
