Job Description
Essential Functions
- Responsible for building and managing/consulting on short and long-term marketing strategies for Sporting Kansas City’s Youth Sports properties- including soccer programming, leagues, and events.
- Management of owned channels – email, social, web
- Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Manage youth sports marketing budgets
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all tactics are optimized and performing.
- Key connection point between Youth Sports and Marketing departments
- Manage projects and campaigns, ensuring that all deadlines are hit.
- Analyze the performance and effectiveness of campaigns, managing the ROI across all channels.
- Build summary reports of marketing initiatives.
- Always represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
- Develop and manage the marketing calendar for youth sports programs and events.
- Create and manage the marketing email database
- Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of enterprise policies and activities.
- Strong time management and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
- Ability to coordinate and lead multiple tasks and projects.

- Attendance/coverage of most Youth Sports events
- Sporting KC (first team) match support when schedule allows
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, or other related field required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in brand or account management
- Proficiency in Salesforce (KORE) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Proficiency in PlayMetrics a plus
- Project management experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
- Spanish fluency a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of the youth soccer landscape a plus
