Our ideal candidate is an experienced premium hospitality professional looking for their next adventure in a company that can offer career growth and diverse opportunities. In this role, you will manage a team responsible for all Premium Food & Beverage concepts for all Sporting Kansas City facilities, including Children’s Mercy Park, Compass Minerals National Performance Center, and other facilities.

The position is to be a key contributor to the premium team while ensuring all work is consistent with the Sporting KC brand purpose: “We create memories through personalized experiences with our Club.”

Essential Functions
  • Administration of all suites, clubs, and bar related functions to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, not-for-profits and Sporting Kansas City team members.
  • Prepare appropriate staff weekly schedules according to business levels and planned payroll.
  • Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals.
  • Achieve assigned budget goals.
  • Train and manage an effective team of associates, providing feedback on their job responsibilities and alignment to Sporting Kansas City programs.
  • Complete all purchasing in compliance with company programs and policies.
  • Communicate and assist other associates and departments when needed.
  • Ensure that all security, safety, and sanitation standards are achieved.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, committees, and trainings.
  • Research and develop new policies, procedures, menus, and control policies that elevate service standards and accountability of staff.
  • Coordinate menus, alcohol compliance and quality standards, handle guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a high-volume stadium and/or arena, premium and/or catering environment.
  • Strong food knowledge with a variety of menus and previous experience supervising service team members required.
  • Ability to taste and evaluate food and beverage products.
  • Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts.
  • Able to communicate with management team, guests, and team members through oral and written skills.
  • Ability to manage frequent change.
  • Ability to manage their own time as well as the time of others.
