Job Description
Essential Functions
- Report to the Senior Event Coordinator to Plan and Execute Non-Match Day events on-premises and off-premises.
- Handle client needs leading up to and on event day.
- Responsible for typing, organizing, and sending event documents (Event BEOs, Post Event Recap Notes, Daily Updates, Floor Plans, Maps, etc.)
- Ensure event documents are sent out to internal departments and clients in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of event documents, event additions, and costs.
- Collect, code, and submit post event costs.
- Communicate and collaborate across the organization to develop staffing plans and ensure all event needs are met. Planning requires working with internal departments such as Security, Parking, Hospitality, Housekeeping, AV and Facility Operations, amongst others.
- Create agendas and notes for weekly meetings.
- Ensure that all clients receive a response to calls/emails within 24 Hours.
- Set-up and attend all client and vendor site visits.
- Ensure that all site visits receive a recap and next steps email within 24 hours.
- Actively identify enhancement sales opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Administrative duties where needed including filing, mailing, faxing, copying.
- Maintain Argyle Events inventory, and event supplies.
- Maintain a mindset that is constantly learning and looking for new and more efficient ways to create experiences whether through attending tradeshows or networking with other Event Professionals.
- Always Represent Sporting Kansas City and its related affiliates in a professional manner.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
- This role does not have any direct reports.

- Professional appearance and attitude, as well as ability to work with others.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, event management, marketing, or other related field preferred.
- Preferred 1-3 years event sales and/or planning experience.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar.
- Tripleseat knowledge and Social Tables or similar event diagraming software preferred.
- Must be able to successfully manage and execute events in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to assist in any event day role that may need attention.
