Job Description
Essential Functions
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them into their proper place.
- Wash all pots, pans and trays by hand in a three-compartment sink using proper form.
- Remove all trash from various receptacles around the kitchen and bring to the trash compactor.
- Sweep all debris from the floors and mop floor with soap, wash water or bleach water.
- Set up and break down the dishwashing area following the machine’s assembly directions.
- Maintain and abide by the County Health/Sanitation as well as Sporting KC standards.
- Maintain the food service areas/kitchen in a neat, clean, clutter-free and safe environment.
- Represent Sporting KC in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
- Strong organizational, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities.
