Job Description
ABOUT US :
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with an experience of building modern scalable and redundant services in modern programming languages (preferably Java, or other OO languages). The developer will join the established MTS Insight Tech team - helping in leading the development of the new features and participate in the agile transformation of the team.
THE CHALLENGE :
- Lead a team of diverse and talented software engineers with varying levels of expertise.
- Drive the team’s efficiency and deliver high-quality work by enforcing technical excellence, managing tech debt, and continuously improving processes and timelines.
- Oversee your services throughout the delivery pipeline —from design and development to deployment and monitoring in production.
- Define team goals and objectives , mentor team members, and plan for their personal and professional growth.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to create the best product for your customers.
- Work closely with the lead architect to ensure software meets requirements for quality, performance, security, modifiability, and extensibility.
- Contribute to improving the technical performance , scalability , stability , and resilience of the core product.
- Coach engineers to grow their skills and provide regular , constructive feedback .
- Help engineers understand the bigger picture and how their work impacts customers and the product.
- Learn about new technologies and trends , sharing insights on how they can enhance current and future products.
- Foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team and across the organization
