What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer: Basketball Championship at Barclays Center position at Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation?
Operating between three and five days each week for 36 weeks during the school year in most programs, we offer combined academic enrichment curricula including literacy, STEM, leadership, High School Today College Tomorrow (HSTCT) and Middle School Today High School Tomorrow (MSTHST) with sports and wellness, music, visual and performing arts opportunities and trips to educational and cultural institutions.,
New York Edge is excited to host our Basketball League Championship at Barclays Center on Monday April 7th for the first time ever! We will be joined by 1,000 members of the New York Edge Community to cheer on our student-athletes as they compete for championship glory! We will crown champions across three divisions, including middle school Varsity, JV and Girls LEAD. Additionally, our best elementary school student-athletes will compete in an All-Star Game, while our best cheer teams showcase their skills during halftime of each game. This will be a night that builds memories for a lifetime!
