WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES (SEASONAL)
Seasonal Warehouse Associates work 12-hour shifts which allow flexibility and reduce their travel time. Team members work 4 shifts one week and then 3 shifts the following week. Less time in the car and more time at home. Schedule includes 2 long weekends every month.
- Shift: 6:30 p.m - 6:30 a.m.
Job Purpose
Help us fulfill our customer orders while enjoying an air-conditioned warehouse in Mebane, NC. We are looking for organized and focused individuals who can multitask between numerous orders. Individuals will be trained in many areas and will learn several new skills in order to service our customers at 110%.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. You must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.
Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties
Candidates will be a part of the team that gets the chance to fulfill our customers' customized order request. Candidates will be expected to read and understand production notes and orders, work closely with other team members to ensure team culture is maintained, and goals are met. Team members will be responsible for ensuring that orders are processed as order worksheets specify, within our quality expectation, and meeting our production goals. All candidates will be trained appropriately for our position roles and will be expected to be quick and committed learners.
- Bag & Fold customized garments
- Process garments in our software system (SAP)
- Put away items into hold bins
- Accumulate and sort batches
- Any other tasks asked by a lead or supervisor
- Cross train in other areas of the Fulfillment Center
Minimum Requirements
- Must enjoy and be able to utilize hands and wrists frequently within the work shift.
- Must have high attention to detail and a very high focus on quality and accuracy.
- Must able to stand for the duration of their scheduled shift and lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel.
- Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
- Must have good foundation of the English language to be considered for this position.
- Must be able to read English
- Ability to use computer to input information, print and double check data
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior Warehouse experience is preferred; experience with manufacturing and production work is a plus!
- Vision (near, distance, peripheral) and ability to distinguish colors
