Individuals in this role will be expected to work between both of our Mebane facilities on a routine basis.

Job Purpose
The Restock/Receiving Trainer will provide training, direction, leadership, and development to one of the shifts within the Receiving Department. Individuals in this role will be expected to work between both of our Mebane facilities on a routine basis.
- 1st Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (occasional weekends)
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. (occasional weekends)
Responsibilities
Major Accountabilities/Essential Duties
- Train new and current team members in the Receiving area on department procedures.
- Act as a resource for associates, providing guidance and answering questions.
- Keep work area safe and clean on a daily basis. Ensure upstairs and downstairs landings are kept neat and tidy. Ensure plastic and cardboard are sent to their designated baler, areas are swept prior to shift change, carts cleared, white totes sent to COM sort and blue totes to GEEK. Leaving no inventory around desks.
- Perform all aspects of the Put Away/Restock and Receiving Associate job descriptions when necessary and as trained to do so.
- Train new employees on the process of stocking and restocking bins. Addressing the different priority levels of put-away.
- Ensure associates are trained on the general upkeep of the floor as well as best put-away practices and end of aisle procedures.
- Use and train others on handheld inventory scanners as a key part of daily responsibilities.
- Assist in report cleanup each day. Giving visibility into areas that require further training.
- Train team members on inventory tracking.
- Breakdown inbound freight as well as assist in unloading Fed Ex, DHL, UPS, and LTL’s.
- Train put-away associates on both plastic/cardboard baler upkeep and procedure.
- Must be willing to be forklift certified. There may be a need for training on other motorized equipment (e.g., order picker).
- Previous receiving & restocking experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient in basic computers skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel when restocking items.
- Must be able to go up and down step ladders safely while carrying products.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and a very high focus on accuracy.
- Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral) and ability to distinguish colors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Some college preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
- Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in English to be considered for this position.
- Candidates must be 18 years of age or older to work in this position due to DOL regulations.
