Job Title: Seasonal Geek Supervisor

Shift: Day (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)

Reports to: Geek Manager

NOTE: THIS IS AN INTERNAL HIRE POSITION

Job Purpose

This team member is someone that is experienced in the GEEK area. Also, someone who can make productivity in picking and putaway. This team member should be an organized individual that can multitask between numerous orders while working efficiently and demonstrating leadership skills.

We’re seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assign people to workstations to do either picking or putaway based on demand.
• Monitor workstations ensuring all computers/printers are working properly and team members are working efficiently.
• Have a sense of urgency in making sure orders are shipped in a timely manner
• Transition with other shifts, communicating and retaining critical information
• Be a resource for questions and guidance among all GEEK associates.
• Organize custom orders to appropriate areas
• Solve errors at the workstation
• Review the GEEK map to see any problems with robots
• Solve robot problems (off QR code, restart, move robot to another QR code)
• Review picking or putaway productivity with team members as necessary.
• Run reports to look at the total number of units that need to be picked or putaway
• Monitor orders throughout the GEEK process including stuck orders
• Fix orders that are missing items
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Must enjoy and be able to use hands and wrists and stand for extended periods of time.
• Initiative, adaptability and patience are a must within the role.
• Must be assertive and comminute clearly.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel.
• Must have high attention to detail and a very high focus on quality and accuracy.
• Must be able to distinguish between colors.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs.
• Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
• Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Prior PSG experience is preferred, and prior lead experience is preferred
• Must be proficient in English. Bilingual a plus.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Computer Skills: Some basic computer skills required
