Nature of Work: Manages all travel services on behalf of the company

Examples of work performed:
  • Establishes and maintains contracts and ensures effective, professional relationships with travel management companies, airlines, car rentals, limousines, hotels, and online booking companies.
  • Oversees the daily operations of all KSE travel bookings (online and with the dedicated agent team) to ensure compliance with company policy.
  • Manages all travel reporting products, including processing, reviewing and distributing reports.
  • Maintain effective corporate travel policy; suggest modifications to company policy as needed; advise travelers of travel policies and changes; ensure adherence to corporate travel policy.
  • Ensure after-hours service is providing adequate assistance.
  • Audit and reconcile billing summaries for travel related invoices, including but limited to: p-cards, monthly travel management company, rental car, limousine.
  • Oversee Group and Meeting travel done by the travel management company agent team.
  • Perform Travel Administrator duties for the company online booking tool; maintaining the online travel portal, ongoing employee/end-user training, trouble-shooting, communication.
  • Direct supervision of variable hour part-time employee.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
  • Minimum five years recent travel agency, airline, or travel management experience.
  • Two or more years of travel account management.
  • Onsite location travel experience.
  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
  • Certified ARC Specialist (CAS) training certification (or currently eligible to be certified), required; CAS and CTC certification preferred.
  • Two or more years of college course work, bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards.

  • Ability to implement and administer new on-line booking program.
  • Ability to communicate easily and professionally with various vendors, company personnel, and team personnel.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience managing others in travel field.
  • Experience working with high profile and VIP clients.
  • Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced skill and knowledge of the Apollo and Sabre GDS travel system software.

Compensation:
  • Base salary range $56,485 - $70,000 per annum
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
