Tournament Operations Intern-Summer 2025

Overview:

As a successful Operations Intern at Sports Force Parks, you will have a unique opportunity to develop professionally at an outdoor sports park of distinction. Our staff will provide each intern with valuable learning experience while the college or university course requirements are met. This is a paid internship for students enrolled in a college or university program or course.

Responsibilities:

• Understand day to day tournament operating procedures from back-end management, game day preparation and game day events to follow up procedures and wrap up meetings .
• Assist sports managers and other staff members in tournament preparation .
• Work along-side the departmental seasonal employees .
• Perform routine facility walk-throughs to ensure guest experience is at the highest level .
• Work at various locations when necessary .
• Learn all aspects of operating a retail business .
• Assist in fostering partnerships; community based, tournament partners or park sponsors .
• Marketing tournaments to teams and organizations .
• Support our Field Maintenance team on site .
  
  

Requirements:

• College student studying Sports Management, Events Management, Hospitality, Communications, Facility Management  or Marketing .
• Ability to work weekends .
• Responsible and punctual .
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience in working with guests in a customer service environment .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) .
• Excellent writing skills .
• Excellent initiative.
• Ability to multi-task.
