We are seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to join our healthcare facility. The Surgery Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling surgical procedures efficiently.
Duties
Schedule surgeries and coordinate appointments for patients
Communicate with patients to provide pre-operative instructions and answer inquiries
Coordinate with medical staff, surgeons, and operating room personnel to ensure smooth scheduling
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic medical systems
Assist in filing and organizing patient documents
Qualifications

· ICD-9/ ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT coding
