Controller

Industry leader seeks an experienced accounting professional to join its team. This role is perfect for someone looking to transition out of public accounting prior to busy season or a current controller seeking better balance. This will be a 40 hour role with very little overtime.

Experience

• 5 years minimum of progressive accounting experience required
• Previous experience at the controller level or management level preferred
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or business required; CPA, MBA or CMA preferred
• Salary commensurate with experience and skill set.

Examples of Daily Tasks

• Reports directly to CFO
• Monthly financial reporting and ad hoc reporting
• Development of internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
• Will work closely with the credit team on analysis of customer credit extension
• Will work closely with AR, AP, and HR to find best practices, lead projects, and provide oversight
• Help company with applicable local, state, and federal tax compliance
• Sales and Use experience a plus.
• Lead contact for audits
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
