We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide/Technician to support our team of licensed physical therapists and enhance the patient experience. Your primary focus will be on supporting patient service and care, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals receiving treatment. Duties
- Assist patients with mobility to and from therapy areas, ensuring their comfort and safety during sessions.
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist, providing encouragement and support.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area, including equipment sterilization.
- Demonstrate the correct use of therapy equipment and assist patients in understanding their treatment plans.
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a physical therapy or gym setting preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols within the facility.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and office software.
