Role Description

Sportset Health & Fitness Club is looking for a Membership Advisor who can turn leads into lifelong members. This is a full-time on-site Membership Advisor role at Sportset Health & Fitness Club located in Rockville Centre, NY. The Membership Advisor will be responsible for daily sales activities, providing exceptional customer service, and managing sales processes.
About the Role
As a Membership Advisor, you’ll be responsible for driving membership sales, closing leads, and creating a welcoming environment for prospective members. This is a high-energy, high-reward position where you’ll have the opportunity to maximize your earning potential through commissions and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with prospective members through in-person tours, phone calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Close a high volume of leads and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and consistently convert inquiries into memberships.
- Build relationships with potential and current members to enhance retention.
- Educate prospects on the benefits of Sportset’s fitness programs, amenities, and community.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the management team to develop and implement new sales strategies.
Requirements:
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or a high-volume sales environment.
- A proven track record of closing deals and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and competitive mindset.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience in a fitness or health club environment is a plus
