Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer for its Delhi, NY division who can manage the design, development, construction and modification of new and existing products and manufacturing processes from conception to implementation. This hire will join an expanding design team that’s responsible for turnkey product solutions for clients of all levels.
Responsibilities / Duties include but are not limited to :
- Design and develop innovative solutions in the sports construction design space and see them through from concept to production to installation.
- Specify and design components, sub-assemblies, hardware, and bill of materials (BOM) for projects of varying scales.
- Work with Professional Engineering partners to ensure structural integrity of design.
- Interface with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, Vendors & Customers regarding Engineering designs and production.
- Produce engineering and customer documentation / drawings for prototype & production releases.
- Continuously evolve processes and designs to improve efficiencies and reduce cost.
