Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a hands-on Painter , for its Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and / or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.
Responsibilities / Duties include but not limited to :
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with the required procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain and operate powder coat equipment and spray booth as needed.
- Sand, polish, wash, dry, and apply powder coat to products specifications.
- Operate ovens and measure / monitor temperatures per product specifications.
- Maintain proper respirator care / operation.
- Weigh paint for accurate costing.
- Become efficient with painting techniques to meet quality and efficiency needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
