Sportsman’s Choice Marine, Inc. is an established South Carolina Marine Dealership with a fast-paced work environment. We are currently searching for the right candidate for our Title Clerk/Administrative Assistant position.
**PLEASE NOTE - We are looking for a long term employee who wants to be a part of a great team. To ensure the new hire is a good fit, this job will have a 4 week probationary period. The hours during these 4 weeks will be Monday-Friday 10:00am-3:00pm, as well as alternating Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm. This will also allow the new hire to determine whether this position is right for them.
**HOURS** This position is can be part-time (Monday-Friday, 10:00am-3:00pm and every other Saturday, 8:30am-12:30pm) or full-time (Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:30pm and every other Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm) . Flexibility is key and there will be instances where additional times may be required.
ALTERNATING SATURDAYS ARE REQUIRED
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Understand and follow titling policies and warranty registration processes
- Assist Comptroller with inventory and data entry (this requires a high attention to detail)
- Knowledge and understanding of financing terminology, etiquette, and confidentiality as it relates to customer information
- Operate switchboard daily, relieving Receptionist for lunch and other times as needed
- Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly and professional manner
- Greet customers and determine nature of visit
- Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Understand and follow Administrative Assistant and Receptionist processes and procedures
- Other clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous titling/warranty registration experience is a plus!
- Previous banking/financial institution experience is a plus!
- SC Notary is a plus - if not, you will be required to obtain
- Must possess a keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Must be willing and able to speak clearly and articulate grammar over loudspeaker
- Exemplary communication and customer service skills
- Motivated, self-starter with a superior work ethic
- Professional appearance and attire is a MUST
- Professional demeanor is expected at all times
- Dependable
- Punctual
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous reception experience is a plus
Pay is based on experience.
