Job Summary
The Contract/Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the daily management of clinical compliance for the College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) Academic programs, supporting an average of
600-700 students. In addition, this role requires team coordination of specific projects and duties associated with successfully meeting the clinical compliance and contract goals of the College. Individual must have ability to prioritize while working on multiple projects at a time, work successfully both individually and on team projects, be extremely organized, demonstrate dependability, and have professional attitude and poise for interacting with students, faculty and staff.
Essential Functions
This position is classified as Full Exempt, grade J. Compensation for this grade ranges from [$47,490 to $71,230 per year] . Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.

Essential Functions
- Maintain compliance policies and communicate compliance requirements with students, faculty and programs as assigned.
- Counsel students through the compliance process on a one-on-one basis; address individual student questions related to their specific health requirements and meeting the program/agency compliance requirements.
- Assist individual students with technical issues related to vendor software.
- Develop and maintain a clear and concise database for records with regular and consistent status updates.
- Audit and email individual students as compliance deadlines are coming due or are overdue.
- Store all compliance/contract documentation in an organized and secure electronic filing system.
- Maintain a relationship with Drexel’s CHNP compliance vendor and be in regular communication with the vendor to monitor any concerns and to address any issues that arise in a timely manner.
- Communicate all updates and concerns with assigned Academic Programs on a consistent basis.
- Facilitate compliance information sessions with students, such as orientation sessions or virtual meetings, occurring outside of typical work hours and workdays during the academic year as required.
- Utilize an electronic filing system for the Clinical Compliance Team for all compliance and contracts documentation. Work to meet this goal within existing methods and address any barriers to achieving an electronic filing system.
- Liaison and first contact with all contract support for the College of Nursing and Health Professions.
- Coordinate students’ clinical sites, rotations, and preceptors according to established criteria to meet program and accreditation requirements.
- Initiate and maintain affiliation agreements between Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions and clinical/practicum agencies.
- Serve as liaison between clinical agencies and Drexel University Legal Counsel, CNHP Academic Programs, and students to establish executed affiliation agreements.
- Monitor adherence to policy and procedures for the clinical facilities that students and faculty attend to complete clinical coursework.
- Review and clear students in a timely manner prior to the clinical start date for access into clinical agencies.
- Maintain deadlines to submit site specific attestation letters and/or additional student/faculty specific documentation as required.
- Develop communication schedule on weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly basis, which reflects the necessary contact with students regarding compliance and filing duties.
- Maintain confidentiality of workplace information according to the policies and procedures of the institution.
- Other duties as assigned by the Associate Director, Contracts and Compliance.
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Higher Education, Legal, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Minimum of 1 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel required.
- 4 years work experience in a related field (higher education or legal)
- Experience working with online students and a basic understanding of legal concepts and language preferred.
