Principal Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the overall success of the cafés, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit. Ensure superior service is provided to all guests and product quality standards are met.Maintaining all aspects of the barista position as described in job duties section below

Greet, Inform and Direct Customers

Complete cash & credit card transactions for customers

Maintain Store Cleanliness During Slow Periods

Take Orders

Baked Goods Rotation FIFO

Communicate with other SPoTters

Update Specials Boards

Customer Order Call Out

Wash Dishes

Sweep/Mop Floors and use of proper signage (Wet Floor Signs)

Bathroom Maintenance (Daily Cleaning, Stocking of bathroom amenities)

Bussing Tables
-
Maintain Overall Store Cleanliness

Maintain Outdoor Property Cleanliness & Curb Appeal (Outdoor Seating, Shoveling & Salting, etc..)

Learn Menu Items
-
Prepare menu items properly and in a timely manner

Prep ingredients for menu items
-
Monitor Temperatures (Hot Food, Ready-to-Eat Foods, Coolers, Freezers)

Know the Food Temperature Danger Zone (41 degrees – 140 degrees)

Conduct proper MISE EN PLACE (Everything in its place)

Meal Period Closeouts (swapping from breakfast to lunch, etc.)

Follow Proper glove wearing policies

Follow Proper Food Handling Techniques

Unload and properly store food deliveries immediately upon delivery

Continued Monitoring of all product shelf life

Practice Safe knife handling procedures (Cut Gloves, Using correct knives for correct items)

Proper personal hygiene (Handwashing, Clean Uniforms)

Practice proper Communication skills (“Behind You”, “Hot”, “Knife”, “Corner”, “Door open”)

Clean and maintain equipment

Customer Service – Maximize Customer Service by attaining 80% or better on survey results. Respond and resolve all guest complaints timely and appropriately. Manage difficult or emotional customer situations. Responds promptly to customer needs, requests for service and assistance.
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years Barista/Café/Cook experience preferred but not required
