Interns will regularly utilize various languages and data sources to engineer features to optimize our world-class transportation management software. About The Role:
Our Software Developer Intern will develop features and fixes for a variety of applications. Interns will regularly utilize various languages and data sources to engineer features to optimize our world-class transportation management software. The goal will be to make the company more efficient and provide better customer service through technology.
Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, and debug according to requirements, providing unit and integration tests as required.
- Maintain regular communication on project status with team lead, project management, and executive management.
- Troubleshoot production problems within assigned applications software.
- Pursuing BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming concepts and syntax.
- Basic experience in normalized database querying (SQL).
- Experience in C# (NET Framework/Core) preferred.
- Experience in front-end development languages such as React, Typescript, Javascript, etc. preferred.
- Interest in the logistics space, software, and new technologies preferred.
- Must be able to commute to Indianapolis, IN 30 hours a week from May-August. No housing stipend.
- $18/hr.
