We are now growing our world-class Audiobook editorial team and are looking for individuals who can connect amazing stories with the just right moods, moments and genres to listeners who will love them.
We are seeking a Senior Editor to join our North American Audiobooks team to build and manage editorial programming for our US and CA storefronts, including strategic collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams to help support key marketing campaigns and celebrate unique cultural moments.
What You'll Do
- Handle day to day relationships with sales representatives at major local publishing houses.
- Collaborate and implement editorial plan recommendations, based on a clear understanding of business goals, to attract new and diverse audiences.
- Run ongoing editorial updates, hypotheses, and playlists for audiobooks across North American markets.
- Program editorial content on platform as needed.
- Attend local industry events, with a lens toward representing the wider Audiobooks Editorial team.
- Collaborate cross functionally with wider Spotify organizations—such as growth, marketing, PR, product, engineering, and operations — to highlight and champion audiobooks.
- Collaborate closely with our other Editors to complete high quality, data-informed editorial for relevant storefronts.
- Use research, cultural insights, and data analytics to continually enhance and elevate the right editorial lens for our audiobooks platform.

Where You'll Be
The United States base range for this position is $92,388.00 - 131,983.00 plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays, paid sick leave. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance.
