Housekeeper

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in the hospitality industry, where high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure a spotless environment.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Manage laundry services by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established housekeeping protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is preferred; experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs as required for cleaning tasks.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is beneficial.

Pay: $16.01 - $16.90 per hour
