Job Summary
We are seeking a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift maintenance technician.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. The successful applicant will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and be familiar with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This is a rewarding opportunity for a hands-on professional who can work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting and painting-related activities, to maintain the appearance and safety of our facilities.
- Conduct repairs and replacements on equipment and machinery, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize logic controllers and other automated systems to diagnose and fix technical problems.
- Maintain and improve facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and tracked through our CMMS.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to service requests and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques in the field of facilities maintenance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with a CMMS and the ability to learn new systems.
- Experience with welding and other fabrication techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $24.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
