Process Tech (mold injector)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Process Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and produces high-quality products. This position requires a strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, particularly in plastics, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery involved in plastics blow molding and injection molding processes.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production.
• Fabricate components as needed using hand tools and press brake machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including logic controllers, to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Document production data and maintain accurate records of operations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with plastics blow molding and injection molding processes is highly desirable.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers for precise measurements.
• Experience with hand tools and basic fabrication techniques is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A commitment to maintaining safety standards in the workplace.
