What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Data Specialist position at Spotlock?
As a leading provider of geospatial solutions, we require a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee survey projects from initiation to completion.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
This includes:
- Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicating these to the surveying team;
- Leading and coordinating survey teams, including Survey Party Chiefs, CAD Technicians, and Technicians, to achieve project goals;
- Maintaining regular communication with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns;
- Collaborating with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure seamless project integration;
A strong understanding of surveying principles, methodologies, and techniques is essential, as well as proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field; professional surveying license (PLS) is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying required.
