Job Title: Survey Project Manager
We are a leading engineering and surveying firm dedicated to delivering innovative and high-quality solutions to public and private sector clients. Our company, Spotlock, requires an experienced and motivated Survey Project Manager to lead and manage survey projects from proposal through completion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and write comprehensive project proposals for public agencies such as NJDOT, municipalities, the Port Authority of NY & NJ, NYDOT, and the NJ Turnpike Authority.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and team members.
- Conduct site visits and oversee fieldwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet company standards and client expectations.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in survey project management, with a focus on public agency projects.
- Proven experience in developing and writing successful project proposals for public agencies.
- Strong knowledge of survey methodologies, equipment, and software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed for project site visits.
- Experience working with NJDOT, NYDOT, Port Authority of NY & NJ, NJ Turnpike Authority, and local municipalities.
- Strong understanding of state and local regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Advanced technical skills and experience with GIS software.
