In this critical role, you'll be at the helm of designing, developing, and refining our core web applications and micro services, leveraging Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript, and ReactJS. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate closely with a talented development team, project managers, and key stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of software solutions that are not only high-quality but also perfectly aligned with the distinct needs of our clients in the restaurant sector.Key Responsibilities : Take a driving role in software and systems architecture design, polishing the merchant experience for managing digital ordering channels.Take ownership of several components in a software system, and provide guidance to other members of the team.Communicate with business stakeholders, product and engineering managers, and others to align on issues around strategy, execution, timelines of delivery, and quality.Regularly collaborate on architecture designs and contribute high-quality code.Create innovative solutions using the latest technologies and tools for frontend and backend development.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define product direction and to deliver complex applications.Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.Requirements : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent work experience that is directly applicable to the position.A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer.At least 4 years working with Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript / ReactJS or a similar interpreted language.Proven ability to build robust software solutions that solve complex business problems.High level of proficiency in web technologies and asynchronous process handling.Excellent comprehension of software development methodologies and how they affect the production of high quality software.Ability to communicate effectively with people in both verbal and written form.Preferred : Experience with Django or FastAPI.Familiarity with all relevant languages (Python, Go, NodeJS, TypeScript / ReactJS).Experience making iterative improvements to existing system design.Compensation : Our base pay range is $145,000 -$190,000 for this rolePlease note the salary range listed is just one component of a competitive compensation package which includes a company stock planOffers will be reflective of the candidate’s location and experience.Benefits :   At SpotOn, we put people above everything else.
