We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Water Transfer Field Technician to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Installing and removing lay flat hoses, transfer pumps, and other essential equipment for water transfer operations.
- Safely loading and unloading pipes, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for transportation.
- Monitoring machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls as needed to maintain specified conditions.
- Installing and maintaining pumps at job sites.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions to operations.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations and using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
- Assisting in containment and cleanup of spills.
- Conducting regular inspections of water transfer systems to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data, contributing to ongoing process improvements and performance optimization.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, staying current on industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all aspects of water transfer operations.
- Utilizing common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
- Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.
- Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in water transfer operations, is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:
- Work is frequently performed in outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to rain, extreme cold and heat, and proximity to moving mechanical parts.
- Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is anticipated.
- Exposure to noise levels necessitating the use of hearing protection.
- Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to individually lift to a maximum of 100 lbs.
