We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Water Transfer Field Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and removing lay flat hoses, transfer pumps, and other essential equipment for water transfer operations.
  • Safely loading and unloading pipes, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for transportation.
  • Monitoring machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls as needed to maintain specified conditions.
  • Installing and maintaining pumps at job sites.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions to operations.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations and using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
  • Assisting in containment and cleanup of spills.
  • Conducting regular inspections of water transfer systems to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data, contributing to ongoing process improvements and performance optimization.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, staying current on industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all aspects of water transfer operations.
  • Utilizing common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.
  • Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in water transfer operations, is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:

  • Work is frequently performed in outdoor weather conditions, including exposure to rain, extreme cold and heat, and proximity to moving mechanical parts.
  • Exposure to high wind, ice, snow, wet and/or humid conditions, vibration, and dust is anticipated.
  • Exposure to noise levels necessitating the use of hearing protection.
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to individually lift to a maximum of 100 lbs.
