Major Duties / Responsibilities:
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document all information
- Respond to any issues in a timely manner and follow-up by coordinating with appropriate departments and/or customers
- Communicate to fleet truck drivers pickups, deliveries and routes
- Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize daily schedule
- Maintain contact with all drivers throughout their scheduled shifts to monitor their progress and to troubleshoot any problems that may arise
- Familiarity with the tristate region (WV, OH, PA)
- Relay information to customers to keep them informed of delivery dates, time estimates or issues
- Ensure proper fuel pricing is being updated daily
- Ensure all drivers are completing and returning the correct and accurate paperwork and meter tickets
*All other duties as assigned
Education / Experience / Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Class A or B CDL license, HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
- Solid computer literacy (Word, Excel and Dispatch software)
- Ability to plan and organize workload, multi-task, show high level of accuracy and attention to detail and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge and understanding of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA regulations
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, evenings and on-call to support the business
- Ability to lift, carry and push/pull 50lbs
