We are looking for an Application Developer/Analyst with strong analytical abilities and business acumen to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing software solutions to enhance our business operations and customer experience. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and a deep understanding of business processes to drive innovation and efficiency.  The role places a strong emphasis on business analysis, ensuring that data-driven insights contribute to strategic decision-making. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders across different departments. Additionally, the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively is essential. The role requires analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and close collaboration with various teams to drive business improvements and strategic initiatives.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications with a focus on data analysis and business impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, business analysts, and other engineers, to define and implement technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Utilize data analytics to drive insights and optimize business processes.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software solutions to improve functionality and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Foster effective communication and teamwork by engaging with key stakeholders and articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to improve software development processes.
• Document software development processes, procedures, and code for future reference.

Qualified candidates for this role will have the following:

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on data analysis and business applications.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python (Pandas, NumPy).
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and departments.
