Job Summary
As a woodyard operator, you will play a critical role in the smooth operation of our biomass power plants. Your responsibilities will include scaling in/out and dumping trucks, performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks in the woodyard and boiler house, as well as regular maintenance such as oil changes, checking fluids, and greasing heavy equipment and plant systems equipment. You will also be responsible for learning how to stack inventory into a chip pile and load the reclaimer pit.
We are looking for a skilled heavy equipment operator who is able to quickly learn to operate our scale system, perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, and maintain various maintenance reports and records. Additionally, you should be comfortable using basic computer operation skills for completion of needed reports and have excellent communication skills.
