Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction:
- Greet and assist pet owners in a warm, friendly manner, addressing inquiries and providing information about our veterinary services.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of veterinarians' time while accommodating clients' needs.
- Communicate essential information regarding pet health, preventative care, vaccination protocols, and post-operative care to clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized client and patient records using veterinary practice management software.
- Process payments, manage invoices, and discuss treatment plans and associated costs with pet owners.
- Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Remain calm and efficient during high-pressure situations, assisting clients and pets in emergency situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Conduct follow-up calls to check on patient recovery and client satisfaction, reinforcing the importance of ongoing care.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding client experiences, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions.

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is required.
- Previous experience in customer service roles, particularly in veterinary medicine, is highly desirable.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in animal science, veterinary technology, or related fields is preferred.
- Understanding of common veterinary procedures, animal behavior, and pet health care best practices.
