The Job:
Under the supervision of the ILS Program Manager, you will support and teach functional life skills to adults with disabilities following their support plans. Your goal is to help them grow in their independence and lead happy, healthy lives in their chosen environments. Some of the areas you may focus on with your clients include advocacy, basic cooking, maintaining a home, managing medical appointments, accessing community resources, and utilizing transportation.
This position involves managing a caseload while supporting the individuals assigned to you. Our goal is to help clients achieve their aspirations. This work takes place in clients' homes and throughout the community. As part of this role, you will be responsible for transporting clients for errands, medical appointments, and community activities. ILS Coaches are responsible for daily service notes and for writing quarterly progress reports for the individuals assigned to them.

We will train those with minimal experience in this field if your personality appears to be a good fit for the individuals we serve.

Preferred Education / Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A degree in a related field is desired; although it's not required.
- We focus primarily on candidates with a great work ethic, a positive personality that is warm, and inviting.
- Experience in a related field: ILS, SLS, caretaking, CNA, teaching, coaching, a history of working with children or adults with IDD or other disabilities.
To ensure a successful experience in this role, it is essential to have reliable and safe transportation, a valid driver's license, car insurance, and up-to-date car registration. You will spend approximately 90% of your day in the field working with clients, while the remaining 10% will involve administrative tasks such as writing reports, completing documentation, and responding to emails. Additionally, you must be willing to drive within a 35-40-mile radius to meet with your assigned clients.
