Job Description
As an Inside Sales Representative at Sprecher Brewing Company you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities, managing relationships with existing customers, and contributing to the overall sales success of the company. This position involves connecting with potential and current clients, processing orders, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is motivated, results-driven, competitive and has a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities by reaching out to potential customers via phone, email, and other communication methods.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and new clients, ensuring they receive exceptional service.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date on Sprecher’s product portfolio, to provide accurate product recommendations and answer customer questions.
- Order Management: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries, and track order status.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the sales team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for increasing product visibility and driving sales.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order histories
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inside sales, account management, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the beverage industry or foodservice sales is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers and sell.
- Understanding of pricing, profit margin, and supply chain.
- Competitive with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and develop long-lasting customer relationships.
- Proficient in VIP, MS Office, and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot customer issues and offer practical solutions.
- Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously to achieve sales objectives.
- Collaborative and able to work well within a team, while managing individual responsibilities.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic about sales and customer service.
