Qualifications:
A high school diploma is required; an Associate’s Degree is preferred Minimum of two years experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals who are elderly and/or disabled is preferred. General computer experience is required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assists with treatment of residents in physical therapy according to the services permitted by the State Therapy Board.
- Assists with organizing therapy services, programs and activities.
- Assists in transporting residents to and from the physical therapy room/area.
- Prepares resident for treatment by dress/position and administer physical therapy in accordance with established policies and procedures.
