Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse and 2 years of experience in long term care management
Essential Job Functions:
- Assume Director of Nursing position when Director of Nursing is unavailable.
- Direct, evaluate, and supervise all resident care and initiate corrective action as necessary.
- Coordinate staffing and address emergent issues as needed.
- Coordinate resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, and communicate with discharge coordinators and social service consultants.
- Establish good public relations with hospital discharge coordinators and social service consultants.
- Act as a Charge Nurse and cover the floor/various shifts as needed for the best interest of the facility.
