Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Help clients with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers regarding any changes in client conditions.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by following proper hygiene protocols.
- Assist in memory care activities to support cognitive function for clients experiencing memory loss.
Experience
- Previous experience in home community care or patient care is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and systems is advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or memory care needs is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
