Our teachers/tutors address learning goals related to the needs of students at multiple private schools in the Seattle area. These students are enrolled in regular education classes but have additional learning needs. The position includes:

We are looking for a one-to-one teacher/tutor for the 2025-26 school year who shares our passion for education tailored to each child and has the requisite educational expertise to contribute to our mission. Our teachers/tutors address learning goals related to the needs of students at multiple private schools in the Seattle area. These students are enrolled in regular education classes but have additional learning needs. The position includes:
- 20-25 hours per week
- Monday-Thursday schedule (4-day workweek)
- $40 per hour
- Health dental vision insurance, 401k
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Elementary or Middle School teaching experience
- Experience instructing students with learning disabilities
- Enjoys engaging directly with students in a one-on-one setting
- Flexible and able to adapt to a variety of student levels and personalities
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education (or equivalent certification)
- Expertise in teaching Reading, Writing, and Math in grades 2-8
- 3 years of teaching or tutoring experience
