ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Coordinate one full dramatic production (play or musical) each academic semester for a total of two per academic year, including sets, costuming, promotion, and ticket sales.
- Establish and oversee the Drama Club, fostering a Christ-centered, collaborative, and creative environment.
- Direct and coach students in both stage productions and short films, helping them develop their performance and storytelling abilities.
- Encourage students to integrate faith and the arts, preparing them to make a meaningful impact in media and performance.
- Build relationships with local theater groups and community organizations to assist with recruiting new members into the Drama Club.
- Meet or exceed annual student recruit goals.
- Organize club activities, rehearsals, and performances in alignment with SAU’s mission and values.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in theatre direction, acting coaching, or film production.
- A passion for mentoring students and helping them grow artistically and spiritually.
- Strong commitment to Spring Arbor University’s Christ-centered mission and ability to articulate how faith integrates with the arts.
- Agreement of and willingness to uphold and model the SAU Concept, Statement of Faith, and Community Covenant.
- Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
