Spring Arbor University is seeking dynamic individuals to teach photography courses in the Department of Media and Visual arts. Candidates should have proven experience as a professional photographer with a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of technical skills and artistic vision. Expertise is required in both traditional and digital photography techniques, including knowledge of cameras, lighting, Adobe editing software, and studio equipment. An understanding of darkroom processes is desired. Ability to teach various photographic genres including portraiture, landscape, commercial, sports and fine art photography is necessary. The ability to develop and implement course syllabi and lesson plans is desired, as well as experience with Brightspace or another Learning Management System is desired. Successful candidates will be passionate about preparing students to impact the world for Jesus Christ through the practice of Photography.

EDUCATION And EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, Visual Arts or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in the discipline and at least 3 years of professional experience may also be considered. Teaching Experience in a traditional campus environment is strongly preferred.
Experience working in multicultural academic environments is preferred, and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
